St Chad’s Preschool, located on the site of St Chad’s Primary School, offers high quality care for children aged birth to 4 years.

Our indoor space is organised in to two rooms; one for children under 2 years and one for children aged 2 to 4 years, and provides a range of exciting learning opportunities for children to choose from. Our cosy, homely rooms allow children feel safe and secure enough to explore independently, whilst being supported by their key person.

We offer free-flow, all weather access to our amazingly spacious outdoor area every day, where children can explore, challenge themselves and learn about the natural world. 

Our ethos is child-centred and child-led, and we believe in following children’s interests and needs through play based learning.

Our experienced staff are trained to support children ‘in the moment’ as well as supporting ongoing development by observing children’s interactions and providing exciting and engaging teaching provocations to extend learning.

We are passionate about encouraging children to be independent, confident and capable learners in order to give them the best possible start and prepare them for transition to school.
