Happy Easter!!

Date: 29th Mar 2016 @ 11:08am

I trust that you are all feeling refreshed after a 'relaxing' bank holiday weekend (or are full to the brim with chocolate and still chasing that missing hour as the case may be!)  Either way, 'Happy (belated) Easter from S4YC!!'

We had a busy time trying to squeeze in all our Easter activities last week but did, nevertheless, manage to achieve a lot in a short space of time with both infants and juniors making cards, bookmarks, chocolate Easter nests, masks, foam pictures, Easter bracelets, Easter treat boxes, Easter bunting, and window art....

The highlight of our week was on Thursday night where we had a great time dodging the showers to go on an Easter egg hunt around the school grounds. Children should be congratulated for the non-competative attitude they showed when helping each other hunt for eggs and the way they shared out all the chocolate at the end of the hunt (or at least that is what they told us!)

With Easter falling early this year and just 4 days left until the Spring break, we will be continuing with our Spring/Easter theme for the rest of the week and are keeping our fingers crossed that the sun allows us to spend some much needed time outdoors (although waking up to hailstones this morning leaves me with some degree of doubt!!)

Don't forget to book onto the Spring Holiday play-scheme if you require places for your children.  The lower price cut-off date has passed but there are still plenty of places available.  All of the activities are based around children's movies so there will be plenty of variety and something to suit everyone so I am sure all the children will have a fabulous time.  Click on the link below to down load a holiday club booking form.
