Happy Easter

Welcome back after the Pre-Easter Break!!  Prior to the holidays children continued to focus on spring activities as well as celebrating a few special days including St Patrick's Day and Mother's Day where children made lucky leprechaun cakes, leprechaun rainbow masks, Mother's Day cards, floral pictures and bookmarks.

We have been extremely blessed with the weather which has meant we have been able to take advantage of the seedlings outdoor area, enjoy creating some art work on the playground and participating in a spot of planting over on the juniors.

Easter Holiday Club was extremely well attended and was a hive of activity. Children had great fun participating in a number of Easter arts and crafts including decorated eggs, Easter bonnets, lilies, rocking rabbits, bunny butts, bracelets, chocolate nests etc as well as joining in with a variety of outdoor play such as sport, den building, pavement chalk art and egg hunting.  Once again the children were a credit to themselves and all got on extremely well throughout the holiday.

With Easter just around the corner children will be continuing to celebrate throughout the week with a much-anticipated visit on Thursday from the Easter Bunny!!
