9th - 13th November 2015

Date: 15th Nov 2015 @ 1:53pm

This week has been filled with special days including Remebrance Day, Diwali and Children in Need and we have been celebrating these occasions through a number of craft activities.  We've made poppies, finger puppets, cards, diya lamps and Pudsey masks amongst other things.

Due to several room changes through the week you will be aware that we have had to relocate on a couple of occasions (for football, the disco, judo etc.) so would like to thank you for your patience and ask that you will continue to be patient in the coming week as we vacate the infant hall for photographs on Tuesday after school and the yr 1 and 2 disco on Wednesday (until 4,30pm).  As with last week the infants and juniors will come together in the infant hall on Wednesday morning whilst judo is taking place in the junior hall. Many thanks to school for allowing us to use the ICT suite and Nursery classroom to ease congestion during these busy, combined club sessions.

In the coming week our activities are inspired by 'Anti-Bullying Week' and 'World Peace Day' so we expect there will be quite a few opportunites for throught prevoking conversation.   We will make sure your children's questions are answered positively and sensitively, especially in light of what has been happening in the news over the last couple of days.
