We've enjoyed some wonderfully Autumnal arts and crafts at club this week and are thrilled with the masterpieces we have produced.  We started the week with some Autumn window art which gave the younger children the opportunity to talk about the seasons and why the leaves fall from the trees at this time of year.  We have also made some beautiful leafy hedgehogs, button trees and leafy crowns.

Once again superheroes has been the main theme of play on the infants although some children have opted to make music instead by exploring a range of percussion instruments.  We were also treated to the occasional 'tune' on the piano which was delightful for all?!!

The juniors have had quite a bit of upheaval due to a lack of hall space this week but have continued to explore a number of sporting activities on the big field.  They also enjoyed (although they hate to admit it) joining the infants and getting stuck into some of their arts and crafts!!

Eventhough we are only one month into the term we are extremely proud of how well our new children have settled in. Staff were extremely proud this morning to watch on as all the children worked together to tidy up the hall. What a delight it was to see such wonderful teamwork!!
