12th - 16th October 2015

Date: 18th Oct 2015 @ 10:42am

Due to an abundance of cornflakes in the S4YC store cupboard we decided to start our week by making some very special caramel and chocolate cornflake cakes.  Although both the infants and juniors created cakes that tasted equally scrummy, the juniors were one step ahead when it came to presentation adding stars and other delightful toppings to their cakes.

We spent the rest of the week being 'one with nature' as we embarked on an Autumn scavenger hunt before creating some 'leafy' and 'twiggy' masterpieces with our findings.

We also had a lot of fun dressing up this week embracing our musical talents through the playing of instruments and singing some of our favourite songs.

As we approach half term we have plans to make fruit crumble, bird feeders, scarecrows and woodlands finger puppets so something tells me it's going to be a other busy week in S4YC!!
